       We are bringing canoe
             racing back to
               Park Rapids!

Join us Sunday, June 15, 2008 as we
celebrate the beginning of summer with a
"fight to the finish" canoe race. Watch as
both professional and amateur canoeists
race up and down the Fish Hook River.

Both races will begin promptly at Noon.
There will be an awards ceremony
following the race and a catered dinner for
participants.

Trophy awards for each class in the citizens
race will be handed out.
